    <description>I use RH8 now , I know that when the user do the process , it reach the process limit that the system is allowed , how can I increase it ? thx.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;you can dynamically change /proc/sys/kernel/threads-max and ulimit&lt;BR /&gt;to define the number you want. (this is for 2.4 kernels) . For 2.2 kernels you have a fixed limit of 512 per user (linked with a hardware processor parameter).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hth,&lt;BR /&gt;Benoit</description>
