The problem details as requested:

We have a new DL580 G2 (and FCA2214DC host bus adapter) with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server 3.0 installed and we are attempting to have multipath access to our EVA5000.

We purchased Secure Path v3.0C for Linux (HP StorageWorks Secure Path Linux 25 Lic/CD 3.0c, T3579A, Part Number: T3579-63101) to enable multipath access and bundled with the software we received an advisory (attached) that stated:

"During ongoing reliability testing, HP has identified a performance issue with SecurePath v3.0C and RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 (Update 1 + any erratas).

Until a fix is available, Secure Path 3.0C for Linux is not supported with RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 (RHEL 3) + Updates + erratas (32 or 64 bit)."

During purchasing of the software we were advised of this problem but told that there was a patch available ensuring Secure Path was supported on RHEL 3.0 and this was confirmed in the World Wide QuickSpecs for Secure Path:

"Operating System Support
United Linux 1.0/SLES 8 SP3 (32-bit) Errata Kernel 2.4.21-123-smp
United Linux 1.0/SLES 8 SP3 (64-bit) - Errata Kernel 2.4.21-44
RedHat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server v3.0 Enterprise Kernel 2.4.21-4 (32-bit) Errata Kernel 2.4.21.ELsmp (NOTE: Support for Red Hat v3.0 U1 requires a new errata from Red Hat and a Secure Path patch which can be downloaded from the Secure Path web site.)
RedHat Linux Advanced Server 2.1 U3 for IA64 support Kernel 2.4.18-e37smp SMP
RedHat Linux Advanced Server v3.0 (IA64) support Kernel 2.4.21smp SMP (NOTE: Support for Red Hat v3.0 U1 requires a new errata from Red Hat and a Secure Path patch which can be downloaded from the Secure Path web site.)"

Question 1: Where is the Secure Path patch for Linux?

Question 2: What RedHat kernels are supported by Secure Path v3.0C? We need to run the hugemem-2.4.21-20.EL kernel on our servers and need to confirm that this is supported.
