      <title>splitting a linux mirror</title>

      <description>Is it possible to split a linux mirror (or 3-way mirror) for the purpose of doing backups?  I know with LVM you can use snapshot for creating copies for backup but was wondering if you can do the same with linux mirroring.</description>

      <description>You may need more info here.&lt;BR /&gt;What distro are you using?&lt;BR /&gt;How are you mirroring your disks (lvm is available under linux too)?</description>
