Hi. I have problems running HP Advanced System Management Drivers and Agents for Linux (hpasm). When I start it, ILO card is constantly reseting showing in dmesg output this message:

RILOE card was reset and will be unresponsive for up to 30 seconds.

Agent looks to work fine, during start no error, but I cant login ILO cause it allways reseting. If I stop hpasm, ILO works fine again, showing in dmesg this extra message:

Trying to free free IRQ7

Here is information about system:

SO: Linux RedHat 7.3
Hardware: ProLiant DL380 G3
Kernel version: 2.4.20-28.7smp
Packages:
cmanic-7.1.0-5.linux.i686.rpm
cmastor-7.1.0-12.linux.i386.rpm
hpasm-7.1.0-145.rh73.i386.rpm
hprsm-7.1.0-155.rh73.i386.rpm
ucd-snmp-4.2.5-79.rh73.i386.rpm
ucd-snmp-devel-4.2.5-79.rh73.i386.rpm
ucd-snmp-utils-4.2.5-79.rh73.i386.rpm
Services started: snmpd hpasm
Interrupts:
CPU0 CPU1 CPU2 CPU3
0: 6505060 0 0 0 IO-APIC-edge timer
1: 2 0 0 0 IO-APIC-edge keyboard
2: 0 0 0 0 XT-PIC cascade
7: 150679622 0 0 0 IO-APIC-level atbxl
8: 2 0 0 0 IO-APIC-edge rtc
10: 453382 0 0 0 IO-APIC-level cciss0
14: 29 0 2 0 IO-APIC-edge ide0
15: 3678096 0 0 0 IO-APIC-level eth0, eth1
NMI: 0 0 0 0
LOC: 6505435 6505461 6505419 6505461
ERR: 0
MIS: 0

Also, I have other machines like this one with same software and hardware configuration.
Hi

This looks some issue with the ILO card if the agents are working fine on other systems, hope you would have spoken to HP about this, also the management agents install's it's own snmp agent replacing the the snmp rpm which comes with the OS.

Rgds

Gopi
