    <description>RSync is not designed to write to a tape, no.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To do that, you need to use something like 'tar' or 'cpio', or another 'backup' product.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You could raw-dump data to a tape using 'dd', but I wouldn't advise it (as getting it back off again could be quite disgusting).</description>
