To get those updates you must pay "some" money to RedHat.
Below is the link, ofcourse you must register first.
In case you won't see the important note (like I didn't)-here it is:
IMPORTANT NOTE - Red Hat Network Service Entitlements below must be used in conjunction with a Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscription. Enterprise Linux subscriptions can be purchased through the Red Hat Store.
https://rhn.redhat.com/network/sales/

Update 1 is just a bunch of updates/patches to the 3.0 release. if you have access to Red Hat Network , you should be able to download these ISO's.

Otherwise, if you system is subscribed to RHN and receiving updates, your system is effectly running update 3. Update 3 is the latest version.

At minimum, you need to get an entitlement for your machine, which will cost $96/year.

Red Hat is on Release 3 right now, which is probably the last stable release of the Enterprise Linux 3.x line.

SEP

Hi

RedHat update 1 means it will have fixes and patches for RedHat 3.0, the kernel version will also be different with every update released by RedHat. I you have a contract with RedHat you can go ahead and download the iso image and burn on to a cd.

Rgds

HGN

I found the update on the distribution media.
It was on disc #1 in the folder /RedHat/Updates/

I guess we purchased RedHat long after its initial release. So Red Hat just put the update in with the media.

Our application was getting this error until we applied the Update:
error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
