    <description>.forward is parsed before .procmailrc (.forward is pased by sendmail itself, whereas procmailrc is parsed by procmail).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So, if your mail is forwarded and is no more in your mbox, it won't go to procmail (where spamassassin works).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe you should try forwarding using procmail.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Fred&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>procmail and .forward</title>

      <description>all,&lt;BR /&gt;I have spam mail coming through as rpc which gets routed to root. The problem is that it is mark as spam and yet it's coming into my inbox instead of the spam box.  I used spamassassin and Sendmail. I am wondering if having dot forward bypasses the procmail set up. Can any comment on this?  Thanks.</description>
