hp dl-140 wount boot debian

Hi. Just got a dl-140 and installde debian on it. All was fine (well, no network card found etc, but that can be dealt with later) and it was time to reboot. Stops directly after lilo begings to load. Tried every kind of installation on the curren debian boot-cd. Get same thing with all of them. What do i do?

Did you try RedHat ?

Nope, have no interest in RH. Only run Debian.

Yes :))
I find that :)
Try install RH only to test HW.
If RH install falure on boot you have problem with HW.
If RedHat work fine :) You have problem with debian install.

I tried Slackware, with same result. Could try RH aswell, but first i am going to upgrade bios. Perhaps this will help, otherwise i will try RH.

upgarde all FW.
