XDMCP

I have XDMCP setup on a Suse 9.1 box. I can logon as a regular user but can't with root.

As I logon as root, only yast was brought up.

Is root restricted only to launch yast? Is that a way to change that?

hi,

not having a good idea about it.but as per the information in net root login is disabled through network.

Hello,

I don't know specifically Suse version, but look in /etc/default if you have a login file, and add root in this file...
