      <description>hello Dear Experts&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;kernel: 2.6.5-1.358&lt;BR /&gt;OS: Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;there is a file /records.txt owned by me(root).  I want to give a user name marshall read and w rite permissions on /records.txt.  marshall doesnt belongs to the root's group.&lt;BR /&gt;I did as following&lt;BR /&gt;[root@crm1 /]setfacl -m user:marshall:rw records.txt&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;setfacl: records.txt: Operation not supported&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;why the above message? where and what i did wrong ? what shuold i do ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Plz help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in Advance&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Maaz</description>
