    <description>Hi &lt;BR /&gt;I'm tried running the lansafe3 console program but I always get a timed out message&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ./ls3con&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please enter the Access Code for the Power Monitor.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Accessing Power Monitor&lt;BR /&gt;.......................................&lt;BR /&gt;Message timed out!&lt;BR /&gt;........................................&lt;BR /&gt;Message timed out!&lt;BR /&gt;The LanSafe III Power Monitor (ls3) is not running.&lt;BR /&gt;Run the daemon by typing ./ls3&amp;amp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The ls3 daemon is running &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#ps -ef | grep ls3&lt;BR /&gt;root      8408     1  0 11:58 pts/2    00:00:00 /opt/ls3/ls3&lt;BR /&gt;root      8418  8270  0 12:04 pts/2    00:00:00 grep ls3&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What could be wrong?&lt;BR /&gt;Note..&lt;BR /&gt;1. I am running Red Hat Enterprise 2.1&lt;BR /&gt;2. I have tested the serial cable on another HPUX server running ls3. The cable is OK&lt;BR /&gt;3. Could it be a serial port setting??</description>
