    <description>[I haven't wroked with Secure Path yet], but the answer is simple:&lt;BR /&gt;- if HP provides binary-only module for Secure Path, it won't work on other kernels&lt;BR /&gt;- if you can download source rpm [or tar] - you'll be able to install this SP on different RHEL3.0 kernels</description>

      <description>Hello experts,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;as per HP documentation secure path is supported on redhatlinux AS ver. 3.0 with kernel version 2.4.21-9.ELSMP.&lt;BR /&gt;Now, is it supported on A later kernel version or i have to have 2.4.21-9.ELSMP kernel to run secure path.&lt;BR /&gt;Any help is higly appreciated.&lt;BR /&gt;TIA</description>

      <description>I'm dealing with the same problem and from what I've been told "update 3" is the latest version you can run at this time. I believe that the kernel is xxx.20 not xxx.9 though.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If we get it working I'll post.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jim</description>

      <description>We've decided to stay away from Secure Path and use the QLogic software designed for our FC cards. We've been told by our supplier that SP is going EOL. While current versions will be supporters there is no known release cycle. Our servers are running Oracle apps and if Oracle tells us we need a new kernel revision to solve a problem I don't want to have to hope that HP releases a new version. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Take it for what it's worth.</description>
