    <description>Hi Ken,&lt;BR /&gt;Can you reach that smtp server?&lt;BR /&gt;Does ping work? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If so then edit sendmail.cf file &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# "Smart" relay host (may be null)&lt;BR /&gt;DSsmtp-mta5&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here smtp-mta5 is my smtp server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;restart sendmail.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;try sending mail using -v option so you can see what is happening.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sachin</description>

      <description>I can ping the smtp server. When I go to /etc/mail and list the directory there is no sendmail.cf file but there is a sendmail.mc file. My HPUX systems have a sendmail.cf but this is a LINUX system.</description>
