      <description>All,&lt;BR /&gt;I am getting this error when trying to run iwlist scanning on my wireless card:&lt;BR /&gt;eth1      Interface doesn't support scanning : Operation not supported&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am running FC3 on my laptop. The wireless is a Linksys.  The module used is: pcmcia_core            50945  3 orinoco_cs,pcmcia,yenta_socket &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;eth1      IEEE 802.11-DS  ESSID:"XXXXX"  Nickname:"localhost.localdomain"&lt;BR /&gt;          Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.462GHz  Access Point: 00:06:25:E6:7C:97&lt;BR /&gt;          Bit Rate=11Mb/s   Tx-Power=15 dBm   Sensitivity:1/3&lt;BR /&gt;          Retry min limit:8   RTS thr:off   Fragment thr:off&lt;BR /&gt;          Encryption key:0xXXXXx&lt;BR /&gt;  Security mode:open&lt;BR /&gt;          Power Management:off&lt;BR /&gt;          Link Quality=92/92  Signal level=5/153  Noise level=116/153&lt;BR /&gt;          Rx invalid nwid:0  Rx invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:5&lt;BR /&gt;          Tx excessive retries:307  Invalid misc:0   Missed beacon:0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BTW: I XXX out ESSID and WEP; ignore the value XXX...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any idea why iwlist scan is not supported?
