i should like to know if i can increase the limit of 15 on the max logical partitions with linux

Hi,

I don't know - but I think it is not posible,
but in my opinion you should try to use LVM
instead of logical partitions.

Hi Marco,

Through LVM, you can create upto 256 logical volumes.
