https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-linux/suse-8-basic-to-suse8-update4-upgrade-fails/m-p/3522453#M16995 Hi <BR /><BR />We have a problem installing an BL20p and BL30P bladed system. we got the suse8 cd's from HP internally. we installed suse8 per the following method as in the docs:<BR /><BR />1. we booted of the SUSE SLES 8 cd.<BR />2. it prompted us for the United linux 1.0 ia32-i386 cd sets 1-3. it installed fine and rebooted and setup all the admin stuff.<BR />3. we tried to update to United linux 1.0 SP4 and it wont allow us too. we tried this through yast install ( install and update software options but its doesnt happen) <BR />We need to be able to upgrade to SP 4 as it has the required kernel updates for Securepath and Qlogic failover. we need to go to this but cant figure out how to do this. <BR /><BR />has anybody done this ? were pretty much stuck and really need help to resolve this.
