I am using HP Proliant DL 380 that has no floppy. Can any one tell me that how can I install the Smart Array 6i Driver from CD drive.
Please give me details

Which update of EL3 are you using? Update 4 should go on ok I believe.

Incidentally, how'd you get a DL380 with no floppy ?! They most definately come with one hardwired in!

Hi

Use the Redhat EL 3 update 1 or above.

There is no need in that case to add drivers for smart array.
It will work on it s on....

DL380 G4 don't include by default a floppy drive. It's an option.

put the support pack CD in the cd drive and start the setup process. it has gui based installation which will install all drivers required for ur distribution and hardware.
