    <description>Dear friends,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In my network there is a DC(Domain Controller) windows 2000.I want to Enter my machine(RH) to this domain.&lt;BR /&gt;So what steps should i do :&lt;BR /&gt;In my RH machine : edit "/etc/hosts" and "/etc/resolv.conf"&lt;BR /&gt;In the DC Windows 2000: I ask the It to Add my RH machine to the domain.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is these all steps should i make to have my RH machine in the Microsoft domain ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank's a lot.&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards.</description>

      <description>John, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe a nice tool for you is webmin (&lt;A href="http://www.webmin.com)." target="_blank"&gt;www.webmin.com).&lt;/A&gt; This is a nice admin tool which allows you to administrate your linux box through a web interface.       <description>&lt;BR /&gt;you have to use samba. SAMBA is the only daemon in linux which bridges between linux and windows.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can give user name and password information in smb.conf in /etc/samba/ directory&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Gopi</description>
