    <description>Hi all!&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;I've a problem with Openswan 2.3.1.&lt;BR /&gt;My configuration is with a linux RH9.0 gateway and a Windows XP laptop.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;I've configured openswan with l2tpd and all seems to works correctly.&lt;BR /&gt;I can connect with linux gateway and access the servers behind the linux gateway.&lt;BR /&gt;But after 2 or three  minutes i lost the connection with linux gateway.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;On the gateway i get this message:&lt;BR /&gt;inux pluto[3291]: "sample"[1] 213.45.189.103 #1: received Delete SA(0x60781d61) payload: deleting IPSEC State #2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;On client i get:  general error.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Any suggetsion?? thanks</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;I am not openswan expert. But for me it looks like some connection timeout related problem. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the load on the linux gateway and any timeout set in openswan (including socket timeout). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;May we know the reason to go for RH9.0? it is way old and has lot of known bugs in the kernel which can be easily exploited by the hackers. I believe this machine is listening on the external network which makes things worser. Try using FC4 and openswan combination, it may also have solution for this problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Gopi</description>
