Those drivers look good but when I do the first part of the install I get the following error:

error: cannot create %sourcedir /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES

I am new to Linux and kinda lost now at this point. I get this after running the rpm -ivh command per the readme.

I am trying to install Fedora Core 2 on my new DL140G2. It does not see my NIC and I don't know where to find the drivers. I cannot run Fedora Core 3 which I believe has the drivers due to software conflicts.

Hi~

The NIC should be Broadcom BCM57xx.

Download driver here:

http://www.broadcom.com/drivers/driver-sla.php?driver=570x-Linux

Extract the source RPM and rebuild it.

Regards
Steven Chan

Hi~

Did you do this in root privilege? or you don't have "rpm-build" installed.

if you don't have "rpm-build" installed, try to find the rpm file "rpm-build-x.x.x-x.rpm" on your Core 2 CD and install it.

regards
Steven Chan
