This is an appropriate forum for someone to offer you a workaround or a bug fix if it exists.

Asking when HP plans to fix a problem it might not even be aware of will be less effective.

To find out what HP's plans are call your local support center, offer them data on the bug from your experience and they'll let you know if there is a fix, or perhaps thank you for the report and get to work.

SEP

There is a known Problem with net-snmp-cmaX and x86_64 Environments.

when i do snmpwalk againt a machine running redhat Enterprise 3 x86_64 with installed HP Agents, also net-snmp-cmaX x86_64, so i get this error messages in syslog:

snmpd[20873]: send response: Error building ASN.1 representation (build int size 4: s/b 8)

I found a bug description and pathc on the net-snmp developer site.

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=7600687&forum_id=7152

Will HP fix this Package ?

I think this could be the cause, why we don't see any warnings of this Server in the Insight Management Server. this machines appears always OK, even if a warning, in this case, low battery write cache on DL360G4, exists on the local HP System Management Homepage.
