    <title>topic LDAP,NIS and Passwd in Operating System - Linux</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-linux/ldap-nis-and-passwd/m-p/2767404#M2004</link>
<description>I would like to set up a linux machine with NIS or LDAP server. Clients machines are going to be linux and HPUX. There is a encryption problem between HPUX and Linux, isn't it? The linux server is going to validate correctly a HPUX machine? Can i restrict users to validate on specific machines with LDAP or NIS? thanks</description>
