      <description>Hi everybody, &lt;BR /&gt;I need to monitor the load averages shown in top command, ah shown:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Load averages: 0.13, 0.29, 0.30&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What means exactly this value? and can I monitor it via performance agent?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanx a lot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;s.</description>

      <description>Look at the manpage for the command 'sar'.  'sar' is the System Activity Reporter utility that is standard with most Linux systems. One of the options, '-q' presents the process queues and load averages since midnite.  It can also be used to report historical data, see /var/log/sa for the daily files.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;JL</description>
