      <description>HP does not currently support Linux with this printer.  With this in mind about the only other option (short of getting Mandrake to fix it) would be to extract the driver out of one of the other Linux distributions.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don't use Mandrake, so I'm not familiar with the way that they have implemted it.  Actually, I bought Mandrake once and vowed to never again.  They neglected to indicate on their packaging that nothing but a pentium was supported (I had a 486 at the time), they refused to credit me in any way, so I don't feel the least bit bad with presenting this negative situation.</description>
