Lorenzo,

I installed Secure Path 3.0c ( that supports ES update1)
on hp web site there is Secure Path V3.0C for Linux Service Pack 2 ( that supports ES update 3-4-5)

Update 1, not update 2. You should not use a secure path version that is not explicitly supported by HP on hp servers.

Either use update 1 or contact support for a correct version.

Other question:
Can you post /etc/modprobe.conf and the output from /var/log/messages with regards to qlogic.

Have you installed the correct san surfer for your server?

Have you made sure the qlogic cards have the latest firmware? What is the qlogic configuration?

SEP
