      <description>Red Hat Enterprise linux 4&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have added these kernel parameters to /etc/sysctl.conf and when I issue the sysctl -p command it shows error for certain parameters.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[root@test01 ~]# sysctl -p&lt;BR /&gt;...&lt;BR /&gt;error: 'kernel.semmni' is an unknown key&lt;BR /&gt;error: 'kernel.semmns' is an unknown key&lt;BR /&gt;error: 'kernel.semopm' is an unknown key&lt;BR /&gt;error: 'kernel.semmsl' is an unknown key&lt;BR /&gt;...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is the problem?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Seems to be a syntax problem in /etc/sysctl.conf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it should be like this :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;kernel.shmmax=2147483648&lt;BR /&gt;kernel.sem=250 32000 100 128&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;no space after =&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;etc&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
