      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Few issues:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Red Hat 8 is extremely old, perhaps older than your workstation. How would you expect the folks at RH to write a driver for a NIC card that might not have existed when they wrote the OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So. Perhaps consider a newer RH release or one of the Fedora Core releases. I have found FC 3 to be stable and to have good support for network cards.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What kind of NIC card does the workstation have in it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If there is a driver for it, you will find it on the support website for the workstation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the workstation was never certified for Linux, you can stop now. In that case you'll probably have video driver issues. If thats not an issue the easiest thing to do is to get a supported NIC card. Intel will almost surely work right.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
