Shalom saavik,

Back up the system and replace the disk.

You might try booting it and running hardware diagnostics.

SEP
Hi Saavik,

Do you have any other disks connected to the same bus ? is there similar issue present.

It can be a SCSI bus error too.Pls check the SCSI cable and the terminator too. try to refix the cable and terminator.

Regards,

Siva.
Well, here I am , back again.

Unfortunattely it did not help to switch the HDD and the SCSI cable.

There is nothing else connected to the scsi drive but after some days now, the error comes again.

Apr 19 18:00:22 xxx kernel: sym0: SCSI parity error detected: SCR1=3 DBC=11000a00 SBCL=ae
Apr 19 18:00:22 xxx kernel: sym0: SCSI parity error detected: SCR1=3 DBC=11000600 SBCL=ae
Apr 19 18:00:22 xxx kernel: sym0: SCSI parity error detected: SCR1=3 DBC=11000400 SBCL=ae
Apr 19 18:00:22 xxx kernel: sym0: SCSI parity error detected: SCR1=3 DBC=11000a00 SBCL=ae
Apr 19 18:00:22 xxx kernel: sym0: SCSI parity error detected: SCR1=3 DBC=11000800 SBCL=ae
Apr 19 18:00:22 xxx kernel: sym0: SCSI parity error detected: SCR1=3 DBC=11000800 SBCL=ae
Apr 19 18:00:22 xxx kernel: sym0: SCSI parity error detected: SCR1=3 DBC=11000a00 SBCL=ae

Again: I already changes the hdd and the scsi cable (and the ram) so I think that it can only be the scsi-controller-card
