    <description>Clarification.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Real Answer:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It depends:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It depends on your distribution (RH I assume, but you should state it explicity)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It depends on the Version of RH, again, you should state it, just because you are using the 7.3 manual does not mean it will work with 8.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It depends on your boot loader.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LILO wold be different than grub.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>The procedure should be:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Stop the grub autoboot.&lt;BR /&gt;Press "a" key&lt;BR /&gt;Type "single"&lt;BR /&gt;Press Enter.</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Boot from cd and then do the following:&lt;BR /&gt;linux rescue&lt;BR /&gt;chroot /mnt/sysconfig&lt;BR /&gt;grub-install /dev/hda1&lt;BR /&gt;reboot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then try entering single user mode. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
