    <description>Having my earlier reply deleted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Shalom saavik,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Very interesting.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The controller you use is very generic and should be compatible with many systems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It could be a bad alternate card.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;More likely its not compatible with your system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may be able to do a flash bios update on the card and try again. Same thing for the system itself, which I'm not very familiar with.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <title>Dl320 does not start with alternative SCSI controller</title>

      <description>Hy!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have had some parity errors on my SCSI drive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just to verify that my SCSI Controller is the problem I would like to install an alternative SCSI Controller (as the HDDs were checked and OK).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I inserted a Symbios SYM53c895 SCSI controller but the system does not start anymore.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just keeps hanging after "Symbios, INc. PCI boot rom successfully installed!"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What to do next ? Any ideas ?</description>
