    <description>It appears as if the RedHat Network Daemon cannot find your system registration on the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you signed up to the RedHat Network?  Do you use the 'up2date' utility?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you don't want to get automatic notifications about updates, then you might just want to disable the daemon (chkconfig rhnsd off, service rhnsd stop).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you do want to use it, then you should run 'rhn_register', and follow the questions/adivce.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My server runs RedHat 7.0 and have the following messages shown up in /var/log/messages.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Aug 28 09:59:18 oradb1 rhnsd[1973]: running program /usr/sbin/rhn_check&lt;BR /&gt;Aug 28 09:59:21 oradb1 rhnsd[947]: command returned: ERROR: unable to read system id.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone know about this ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Patrick</description>
