    <description>&lt;BR /&gt;Hi Silver,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In Linux KICKSTART is a similar utility.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is tha more or less same as the IGNITE UX in HPUX and &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;JUMPSTART in Solaris.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It allows us to create images/backup of the servers and restore thru LAN boot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We can make lots of customisations too, depending on config, MAC etc (of client) we can assign the images.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Siva.</description>

      <description>All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ignite UX is a very good utility in HP UX. The same way do Redhat has any similar one to take the backup of the root drives to a tape ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks !</description>

      <description>Have a look at systemimager at &lt;A href="http://www.systemimager.org." target="_blank"&gt;www.systemimager.org.&lt;/A&gt; I'm not sure about tapes, but it will crash recover your system over the network.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;JP</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Doesn't really exist.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.mondorescue.org" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.mondorescue.org&lt;/A&gt; works reasonably well and the price is right.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.acronis.com" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.acronis.com&lt;/A&gt; works very well but costs money.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
