    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks a lot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I upgraded using the following steps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Downloaded the SP3 iso's.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Started yast2 and configured the installation source.&lt;BR /&gt;yast2 --&amp;gt; Software --&amp;gt; Change Source of Installation&lt;BR /&gt;3. Used "System Update" to upgrade.&lt;BR /&gt;yast2 --&amp;gt; Software --&amp;gt; System Update&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; Regards.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>There are two supported methods for updating SLES9 systems: &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- booting with the first CD of the SP and applying all the updates offline&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- Yast Online Update (YOU) is a utility in YAST that allows you to connect to Novell servers to update your machine.  You must have a valid Novell login and entitlement to do this. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;YAST is accessed by typing 'yast' for a curses-based tool or 'yast2' for an X-based gui.</description>
