    <description>2.4 and 2.6 are  two  different kernel  versions. Because are many difference between two versions, in most cases you should use different drivers for them. Check HP site for HBA drivers for 2.6 kernels.</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;I have install suse linux enterprise server 9 on hp proliant dl 580 &lt;BR /&gt;Trying to install a hba driver for hp storage works msa 1000 I get this message This machine is not running a 2.4 kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;My kernel version is 2.6.5.-7.97-smp&lt;BR /&gt;Is any way to install the package ?&lt;BR /&gt;KUZO</description>

      <description>Which HBA card are you using? &lt;BR /&gt;What's the name of the driver package you're trying to install?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The 2.6 kernel series has some HBA drivers included. It is possible that you don't need a separate driver package any more.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If your HBA is not supported with the drivers included in the kernel, you need to find another driver package for your HBA.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I have two kind of  card in my server &lt;BR /&gt;the first one is &lt;BR /&gt;HP Single Chanel Ultra 320 HBA&lt;BR /&gt;And onother card NC7782 gigabit Server Adapter.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But the driver wich I trying to install is : hp-qla2x00src-7.01.01-12.linux.rpm.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
