Booting problem using LILO

hi all,
i just installed RedHat 7.2 on my system and set LILO as the boot loader. When I tried to reboot the system, its booting from floppy instead of hard-disk.anybody please help.

Are you saying that it won't boot from the hard disk? Can you be more specific? What does the screen say when you boot without the floppy in the machine?

what i mean is, it keeps on asking to insert a floppy to boot.it doesnt boot from the hard-disk where the MBR is.please help.thanx.

Hi,

What does your lilo.conf file look like? Specifically, what is the 'boot =' line setting?

I installed OS again and now it boots from Hard-Disk.Thanks for your time CK & JP.
