hi
when i am trying to instal a rpm from the net
i got this problem

rpm -Uvh http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/9/updates/i386/gnupg-1.2.1-9.i386.rpm

Sounds like a networking problem.

/var/log/messages

The site you are downloading from is typically overloaded.

Perhaps try a mirror site.

this problem raised when i am installing the yum for redhat-9

i insted yum using mirror

but when i used

yum update

then i got these error's

try
wget http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/9/updates/i386/gnupg-1.2.1-9.i386.rpm

to see if any errors

I suggest you to configure yum and use yum to install packages. It's more simple and easy to use and dependencies can be solved on the fly.

I am trying to help him to troubleshoot the problem. It is possible his yum configuration is already right.
