    <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes you need to be aware that updates from redhat can breatk PSP functionality. If you are dependent on PSP actually working right, you should not do major updates, example rh 4 update 3 to rh 4 update 4 until there is confirmation that a corresponding PSP version exists and is certified by HP.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Even then there have been bugs that have been inflicted upon us in the past.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PSP should only be used with kernels it is certified with.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should do non-kernel security updates, especially if the system has exposure to the internet or applictions sending internet traffic to the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <title>RHEL Updates and HP PSP</title>

      <description>When I install the HP PSP, what do I need to be aware of when installing subsequent updates from Redhat?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's asking for kernel source so I assume some items the PSP installs would have to be recompiled whenever we do a kernel update?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Casey</description>
