hello brother
I am using sendmail and squirrelmail in redhat ES-4. Mail is comming from different network to my mail server. But when I send mail to other network it appears with hostname in email address(like root@ns1.mysite.com, where ns1 is hostname and mysite.com is domain name) and goes to bulk.I want to remove hostname from email address.
Please suggest me.

Thanks with Regards
Shahid

My Dear Sir,

Many many thanks for your suggestion.

Now it is working. But the mail goes to Yahoo's "Bulk" folder not in "inbox" when I send mail from my mail server.

And all other things are ok.

What Can I do now?

Thanks again.

Shalom,

There is very little you can do.

Yahoo has decided that your mail is spam. Contacting their postmaster is probably not going to help but is worth a try.

If your mail contains a lot of certain keywords and html code or images it is more likely to trigger this code at yahoo.

Is your mail bulk?

SEP

I don't know what could be the "checks" that yahoo uses to mark a message as "bulk". See this thread.

http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=640

Please remember to assign points to the people that helps you, its a very good way to say thanks!. In this way you will get more help in the future.

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/pageList.do?userId=CA1454679&listType=unassigned&forumId=1
