What does "rpm -q hpsmh" output? Is hpsmh installed? Does it show something like "hpsmh-2.1.2-127" ?

If installed, then go to the below steps:

What do you see when you run the below command?

/sbin/service hpsmhd status

If it says "hpsmhd is stopped", then try below command

/sbin/service hpsmhd start

It should show "Starting hpsmhd [OK]"

Let me know if any other errors you are seeing here.

I've installed PSP 7.60 and 7.70 on RHEL AS 4U4 and the HPSMH doesn't seem to install properly. The hpsmh group isn't added if it doesn't exist. The SSL keys seem not to get setup, and the hpsmh config file doesn't seem to exist and the hpsmh doesn't start.

When I try to integrate SIM with this configuration, some data appears to be missing and the trust for the system home page on Linux doesn't seem to be able to be established, because the HPSMH doesn't start.

Has someone seen this, am I doing something wrong? Please help.

Austin
