List of syslog messages on redhat linux

I have a Linux server ( proliant DL380). I have done some test on generating alarms when hard disk failure . I tested by removing a hot swap disk.
I was wondering where can I find a document where all syslog messages are described ?

example of syslog message
Event Log Daemon:[9471]: Hot-plug drive inserted: SCSI Port 1 ID 1 of Embedded Array Controller
Mar 9 15:02:51 sgracore Event Log Daemon:[9471]: Logical drive 1 of Embedded Array Controller, has changed from status INTERIM RECOVERY MODE to READY FOR RECOVERY

There is no such doc - for all syslog messages. Every daemon/program who is configured to use syslog write its own entries there. For syslog at general see http://www.scrambler.net/syslog.htm
