https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-linux/linux-installation/m-p/3986346#M27995 Hi,<BR /><BR />It sounds like you might have installed the Boot Loader on a different disk to that where you installed the OS.<BR /><BR />You don't mention which version of Linux you're trying to install, but I know with Red Hat 3 this has caught me out a few times.<BR /><BR />The installation program finds all the disks correctly and you install the OS onto the RAID partition that you want, say /dev/sda. If you cannot find it on the server BIOS itself, you can find it in the RAID adapter BIOS. There are key combinations to enter the raid adapter bios, like ctrl+a, normally prompted during server boot.
