      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have installed oracle 9 on RHEL 3 and started the listner with one script.. now i want to start the database. please tell me how can i manually start the database and verify whether it is running or not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks in advance</description>
