      <description>Dear all,&lt;BR /&gt;I'm using Red Hat Linux in my HP server. Today I have noticed that some unknown process are running in my server ,like migration/0,keventd etc. I have seen it through TOP command. Anybody can tell me what are these processess. I' sending the out put of TOP as an attachment..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>keventd was a kernel thread associated with the task queues (2.4). In 2.6, &lt;BR /&gt;task queues are now work queues and keventd has been replaced by worker &lt;BR /&gt;threads (events/X).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;migration/0 it's a kernel process and directly related to the number of CPU's &lt;BR /&gt;you have.
