On SmartArray5i - can a RAID0 logical disk be reduced?

I had a one disk (RAID0) logical disk on a
Proliant DL585 with SmartArray 5i.
When adding a disk and trying to make a mirror (RAID1) I made a mistake and extended the filesystem.
I guess I should have made a spare disk out of it before trying to change raid level?

What can be done?
- Recreate the array config - and restore backup?
- Reduce/remove the disk and try again?
- Any other idea?

To be safe, "reduce/remove the disk and try again" is sufficient.

The problem is that it seems like you can't remove the disk (unless it is a spare disk)

However - once the disk had been added/extended
the logical disk could be modified from raid0 to raid1.

So - it looks like the problem is solved.

You mean by adding to the existing file system the new disk has also go the same raid level/property as the existing disk.?So effectively your disk in RAID1 now.
