Hi,

I'm running "Linux lnxserver 2.6.9-22.ELsmp #1 SMP Mon Sep 19 18:32:14 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux" (RHEL 4 ES) and I'm getting this error:

nfs warning: mount version older than kernel

Any help will be appreciated.

Probably, you have to update your util-linux packages which contains the mount command.

Have you recently updated your system but not booted it?

Try partprobe command, it may help.

what i rember is updated the nfs util package.It was happening after a kernel upgrade.

# rpm -qa|grep -i nfs
nfs-utils-1.0.6-44EL
