      <description>This is on RHEL5 U2/DL380 G4.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP Agents loaded:&lt;BR /&gt;cmanic-7.8.0-3.rhel5&lt;BR /&gt;cpqacuxe-7.80-6&lt;BR /&gt;hpacucli-7.80-6&lt;BR /&gt;hpadu-7.80-6&lt;BR /&gt;hpasm-7.8.0-88.rhel5&lt;BR /&gt;hpdiags-7.8.0-159&lt;BR /&gt;hpsmh-2.1.9-178&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I had something similar to this with RHEL3 caused by no snmpd.conf file but this is not the case now.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I checked, snmpd is running, the snmpd.conf file was modified by the install:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# Following entries were added by HP Insight Management Agents at&lt;BR /&gt;#Wed Jul 25 18:36:30 CDT 2007&lt;BR /&gt;dlmod cmaX /usr/lib/libcmaX.so&lt;BR /&gt;rwcommunity password 127.0.0.1&lt;BR /&gt;syscontact Root &lt;ROOT&gt; (configure /etc/snmp/snmp.local.conf)&lt;BR /&gt;syslocation Unknown (edit /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can someone give me some pointers where to start troubleshooting?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;~peter&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/ROOT&gt;</description>

      <description>Peter,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check if all of the hp* services are running -- hpasm, hpsmh, etc. Check the log file from the PSP installer -- /var/log/hppldu.log too, make sure all components installed correctly.&lt;BR /&gt;Also I always reboot after initial PSP install.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Ross</description>
