Linux - KDE/GNOME - How to disable root login

Hi!:
I would like to disable root
login from any place (console, telnet, X11 login),
to force the users to login
and after use SU.

Anyone out there know hot to disable root login from the KDE/GNOME login screen ?

Hello Francisco,

For gdm : check the [Security] section in /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf.

For kdm : check [X-*-Core] section in /usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc.

For xdm ???

For GDM ,

In the file /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf put this
AllowRoot=false
