      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have attached a C-Class blade server runninng RH5 Linux to an EVA and presented a new LUN to it. I now need to bring the new LUN into my redhat OS. without ioscan I cannot appear to id what the new LUN is. /proc/devices does not help either.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can I id the new LUN in order to enable LVM to create a new partition?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;D</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you've installed the HP drivers, then you should probably have the hp_fibretools package installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This includes the command "lssd" which will list all san disks...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If not, then you should see the LUN being picked up in the output of dmesg.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rob</description>
