    <description>I think your best bet is going to be the 'hwinfo' command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# hwinfo --sys&lt;BR /&gt;for generic system info.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# hwinfo --cpu&lt;BR /&gt;for cpu information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# man hwinfo&lt;BR /&gt;for information on the command itself.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;NOTE -- This is on SLES (SUSE) 10.  I don't know if this will work on Red Hat.</description>

      <description>Don't know if there is a command, but I would guess the information is available in system management homepage for Proliant and Integrity servers.&lt;BR /&gt;Because all that servers can have an iLO, you can get the information there too.</description>

      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;Without installing any HP value add software, you can use "dmidecode". &lt;BR /&gt;Red Hat it's in the kernel-utils package, SuSE it's in the pmtools package.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just running dmidecode will give you a bunch of information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;dmidecode | grep -m1 "Product Name" should give you what your looking for.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Example&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;scooter:~ # dmidecode | grep -m1 "Product Name"&lt;BR /&gt;        Product Name: ProLiant DL320s G1&lt;BR /&gt;scooter:~ #&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
