Get below err message:
[root@PCLERPDB net]# insmod bnx2.ko
insmod: error inserting 'bnx2.ko': -1 Invalid module format

From /var/log/messages find below err:
kernel:bnx2 version: magic '2.6.9-34.elhugmam smp 686 regparm 4kstacks gcc-3.2' should be '2.6.9-34.elhugmam smp 686 regparm 4kstacks gcc-3.4'

Hi richeal

The log is saying that this module was compiled with gcc-3.4 and your RH has 3.2

Are you running RH AS4 U3 with some app that need it?

Try updating your system to RH AS4 U4 or even U5. If you try to update just the gcc and libraries... u'll need to update almost the whole system.

The download page, doesn't say it supported for RHEL 3. Moreover i like to know how generated the object file.
